If you do not agree with the description - please do not bid. As is the case with many Johnnies - there are always people who believe a car is a repaint or modified. Unless a car is in a blister - unopened - it is near impossible to prove a restored car if its not outwardly indicated as such by altering the rivets. Rivets on Johnnies are often butchered by the production process. I have many in the blister that are like this - even ones that came apart in the blister pack - the top of the rivet breaking off. Production quality was always sub-par. I have no proof that this or the other open door are modified. If they are - it sure was not known by me or done by me.
added pics of the doors. The spring tension strip works great on both of the open door auctions - each door 'snaps' close when you let it go - like it was designed to.
