his is a set of 2 Anchor Hocking Stars and Stripes Queen Mary 8 1/2” Dessert Plates

On the heals of the extremely popular Queen Mary design glassware Anchor Hocking decided to use that pattern and celebrate the victory of the war by adding a pressed Eagle to the center of the Queen Mary blank and calling it Stars and Stripes!

Limit items and a limited time the pattern was discontinued in the late 40’s after the war had ended. Here I have for you a set of two 8 1/2” plates. These plates can be used for salads deserts or sandwich/snacks.

The eagle in the center is surrounded by stars and edge of the plates is cut in rays to symbolize stripes. They are truly unique and would look perfect for your festive patriotic parties throughout the year.

All in great condition no chips cracks repairs. Minor if any utensil marks and the usual mold irregularities that was common during this period of glassware production.

They are stunning!!!
