Please note that along the inside of each shelf has been fixed a strip of wood (using double sided tape ) so that the plates stand more upright. This strip could be taken out and the double sided tape removed if not required.

The main part of the unit is laminate but the shelf fronts ( with the small spindles) appear to be wood 

In very good condition. A very attractive piece of furniture.
