MOT until March 2025, serviced at Cotswold BMW end of 2023 but car has done a few hundred miles since then only.
Plan was always to keep this car long term, spent a lot of time and money to try and make this one of the best examples around. The car is in extremely good condition inside, outside, and underneath where it really matters. I don’t get the time to drive it as much as I would like with family, business, and other commitments so I feel the time is now to let this go to another enthusiast I hope.
This is an honest, reliable, solid car with very low mileage (58k), low owners (4), full history, carbon black on black leather, manual, non sunroof, big factory spec. Looked after by Redish motorsport in my ownership, arguably the best independent specialist in the country / Europe. The car was also serviced most recently at Cotswold BMW in Cheltenham. The car comes with 2 keys, the original service and valet key, all original booklets and folders, and a folder with tons of receipts / invoice’s etc.
Paintwork is in fantastic condition with recent preventative work carried out by an award winning painter. Rear 3/4’s and rear arches touched up inside the wheel arch as well as outside to maintain the condition of the car and ensure there remains no rust to deal with, as these cars can suffer badly with rust in certain areas, this car has none. Only negative worth mentioning on the paintwork is some stone chips to the front end. This has always been a car I will drive and enjoy not hide away so Ive never worried about a few stone chips on the front as i want to enjoy the car not be scared to drive it.
Interior again is in fantastic condition with all new genuine plastics bought from Cotswold BMW through the centre console and up to the double din unit. Grab handles on the door, trims around the electric window switches and dashboard are in as new condition. A lot of plastics in these cars are in awful condition badly scratched due to age of vehicles etc all of this is perfect inside. Steering wheel covered by Royals - best for this work, also handbrake handle in original nappa leather replaced and handbrake gaitor to match steering wheel. Rear seats and passenger seat in amazing condition, drivers seat in good condition for age of the car but i am pretty fussy, and honest, and would say it isn't perfect, but by no means bad.
Mechanically the car is great with no running issues, has always been maintained as required. No knocks, bangs etc.
I honestly believe there are not many genuine, original, un abused examples like this car with the history, spec and mileage available worldwide anymore. I have the original wheels that will come with the car if the buyer would like them. Have oxidised as the diamond cut wheels always do but are in good condition that aside.
As with any 20 plus year old cars there is a few very minor issues that as an honest seller i will point out, mot said there is slight play in steering rack (not noticeable at all when driving and every previous mot in my ownership has not raised this) and one worn suspension bush, again never raised on any previous mots. Also 2 rear tyres are close to legal limit, but as the car is sorned i have decided not to get this done and am happy to reduce the price to allow for any tyres the new buyer would like to put on, tyres are a personal preference so i thought that may actually be a positive that the new buyer can have that reduction in price to allow for any tyres they would like.
