Although it's sized at 8 1/2" X 11", it's in a quarter-fold format and so it must be opened to be read.

Very good condition.
No missing pages, tears or cut-outs.
The only issue is that there is a small amount of spine tearing along the center fold and some small surface issues on the back cover.
Other than that, the typical age related wear you would expect from a nearly 50 year old newsprint type magazine.
Fifty years ... Wow!

PUNK magazine was a fanzine created by cartoonist John Holmstrom, publisher Ged Dunn and "resident punk" Legs McNeil in 1975, and was the first publication in the world to popularize the CBGB scene.

Punk published a total of 15 issues between 1976 and 1979, as well as a special issue in 1981 (The D.O.A. Filmbook), and several more issues in the new millennium.

Covers featured artists such as The Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Patti Smith and Blondie.

Punk magazine was home to many future famous writers, photographers and artists, many of whom were published for the first time in its pages, such as Lester Bangs, Bob Gruen, Roberta Bayley, David Godlis, Mary Harron, Robert Romagnoli, Steve Taylor, Pam Brown, Buz Vaultz, Anya Phillips, and Screaming Mad George.
