Gorgeous, hand-thrown 1950s vase by master potter, Denis Vibert. 6.25" tall, 5" diameter. Crafted at Pine Treen Kiln in Sullivan, Maine - the studio he shared with his wife, Ruth, who ran the gallery. The body is made of terracotta with a matte green-blue mottled/speckled glaze. Modern, simplistic shape. Vibert’s pieces are highly-collectible and hard to come by. Signed by the artist “Vibert Maine” on the base.
