Vintage Mid Century Linen Calendar Towel Lois Long Gene Klebe Birds Kay Dee Mid Century Beach Sea. A pair of fantastic vintage 100% linen calendar tea / kitchen towels with birds and seagulls, sea birds, and sea shells for years 1969 and 1973. The sea / beach theme birds and shells towel from 1969 is by MCM designer Lois Long. The birds in nature / trees towel from 1973 is by artist Gene Klebe (brand is Kay Dee). It features a chickadee, cardinal, evening grosbeak, robin, boholink, and blue jay. The 1969 Lois Long is approximately 28.5" long x 17.5" wide. The 1973 Gene Klebe is approximately 28" x 17". Both are in very good vintage, preowned condition. Patterns and colors are still bold and bright. These were likely only displayed or very gently used. Very minor signs of storage wear, such as some small and expected snags to the linen (see photos), and a small hole on the edge of the Gene Klebe towel.
