Vintage MCM Owl Barware Metal Amber Glass Liquor Wine Decanter Shaker Dispenser Music Box. A fabulous mid century modern musical owl sculptural alcohol decanter, made of metal and amber glass and includes a music box which plays "How Dry I Am." The music box is at the base and winds up; the music plays when the owl is picked up and stops when set down. In good, used, vintage condition with some signs of use and age - such as numerous small areas of surface corrosion and marks. The music box winds and plays as it should. Made in Japan. Could even be used as an oil dispenser. Approximately 10.25" tall. Such a unique piece for your mid century bar, kitchen, or owl collection!
CONDITION: In good, used, vintage condition with some obvious signs of use and age, mainly numerous small areas of surface corrosion/rust and marks on the head, body/sides, and base. Cork is intact but there is some residue and mild corrosion on the metal tube of the spout. Head fits on flush but is a bit loose (likely made that way). The music box winds and plays as it should.
