Up for bid is an early Elgin pocket watch in rose-tinted gold.
The movement number is 3233911, dating it it 1889. It is a Grade: 94, 11 jewels, Model 1. The screws are blued.
The movement is not functioning and likely needs a service.
The hunter 14 karat gold case is in good antique condition. The front has an engraved shield logo, and the back a flying bird (a dove?). It is a little sticky, but can be opened without tools.
The enamel dial is in excellent antique condition with no cracks or patina.
The hands are a handsome blued steel.
