Lovely vintage 100% black silk top hat in a rare large size - the inner circumference is 58.5 cm, approximately size 7¼. 

There is a mark to the top which is obviously a makers one - with 'london' underneath - but not one I recognize. 

It is generally in very good condition with just a few very minor things to note and one could quite happily wear it as is without doing any work whatsoever on it (although you might tidy up the bottom of the hat band and or replace it)

Height  of hat: 15 cm (from brim) 

Length from front to back inside: 21 cm

Width across inside : 17

Width of brim: 5 cm

Condition wise: No dings! On the outside just small loss of silk around the edge of the crown. Hat band has a small touch of damage in one area but is easy enough to replace if wanted.

Silk ribbon edging is fine.

 On the underneath there is one area with a small amount of wear on the fabric.

Interior is good with just a bit of minor discolouration on the sweatband and minor age discouration on silk
