This fabulous antique walking cane which dates from the late 19th century is made from one piece of wood and has the head of The Devil skilfully carved as the handle.

This handle has fine detail to the carving showing the devil's horns, pointed ears, teeth and long beard.

This unusual carved stick which has a beautiful rich patina and has a tactile feel has a metal ferrule to the end and is 91 cm long.

A desirable cane that would make a very nice piece for a walking stick collector.

Condition: Excellent usable antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some scratches, bruises, small cracks and some general wear. There are some filled sections to the cane which would indicate it has been an umbrella. Please see pictures.
