Vintage Boxed Slipcase Set of Three (3) Books: “The Lord of the Rings” Trilogy consisting of these three volumes, each with a foreword by the author:

*Volume 1: The Fellowship of the Ring (part 1) is divided into books one and two of the story.

*Volume 2: The Two Towers (part 2) is divided into books three and four of the story.

*Volume 3: The Return of the King (part 3) is divided into books five and six of the story.


Clothbound hardcovers with illustrated paper dust jackets and Gold/gilt lettering on spines and covers.


Each book measures 9" H x 6" W and contains a fold-out map of Middle Earth, a table of contents, as well as either a prologue or a synopsis. Book 3 contains six (6) appendices, A through F, and an index.


A Sought-After, Desirable Set of Books in Gorgeous Condition. Spines are Uncracked & Crispy New. Maps Have Never Been Unfolded. Some Minor Sun Fading and Corner Wear to Dust Jackets Where the Spines are Exposed, Slip Case Box Has One Corner with Impact Damage (Wrinkling).

All pages are present and intact (there are none missing, ripped, torn or loose). Minor Foxing On Fore Edges. Interior pages remain bright and sharp-cornered, exhibiting NO: corner folds or creases, writing, notes, marginalia, highlighting, water damage, or odors of any kind.
