Vintage 50s 1950s Men's Black Wool High Waisted Trousers Pants Jacob Reed's Sons 28

These vintage trousers were made by Jacob Reed's Sons, a Philadelphia based clothier who operated from the mid-1800s to 1982. They have a label on the inside of the pants with a date written on it of June 8, 1950. While they known for their colleagiate style wear, a significant amount of their business was also in making uniforms and these trousers look like they may have been made as part of a uniform ensemble.

The fabric is a heavy weight wool. They feature a high waisted cut with additional rise in back. There are suspender buttons on the waist. The only pocket is a small pocket watch style pocket just beneath the waistband in front. These trousers have a Talon zipper fly. The legs have a straight cut with a 2.75" hem if you need additional length.

Regarding condition, they are being sold as is. They have a cluster of four moth holes in back and a snag in the wool in front. There's also some staining on the facing on the inside of the pants, though the wool looks very clean.

Measurements conform to a contemporary men's size 28 / extra small. Because every figure is different, please...
