'A Scheme of the Posture of the Dutch-Fleete and Action etc. June 1667'.

A scarce 1825 engraving,  a close copy of the pen & ink sketch sent by the diarist John Evelyn to Samuel Pepys,  found in the latter's papers held in The Bodleian Library.

Original hand colour. Fold as issued,  tan lines from being previously framed, some border wear, uneven top border, age spotting,  other marks and wear from age and handling.

Sheet 40.5cm x 28.9cm. Approx.
