Here is a rare old circa 1940-1950 "SUPERIOR MARKING CRAYONS" Style B Black crayon pencil measuring slightly over 6 1/2" long. This vintage advertising collectible was made by SOCONY PETROLEUM and has the small "SOCONY" emblem on paper label in the center. the paper label also has large black ink "SUPERIOR MARKING CRAYONS", "Style B", "Color BLACK", "For Marking on Wood, Paper, Leather, Glass, Cloth, Tin, China, ect." inked on the label and at the bottom a large "STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF NEW YORK" moniker. this was found in a old deli / Ice Cream Parlor / General Grocery store clean out. appears to be new old stock, the paper label is in excellent condition and the tip is still sharp with a very small rounded point area. the back flat of crayon on end has a small chip out of it. please view all pics.
