This rare vintage Japanese cotton fabric features a unique white circle and black stripe pattern on a red and green background. Made using the traditional Japanese resist dying technique known as Shibori, this fabric is perfect for crafts and clothing for traditional occasions.


Measuring 3 yards in length and 35 inches in width, this fabric was manufactured in 1976 and is of medium weight. The Todai-ji InNara brand ensures the highest quality and authenticity. Although Shibori dates to the 8th Century in Japan, it became popular in the 20th Century when Emperor Shona donated the practice to the the Todai-ji in Nara.
