The movement is running. It was meticulously serviced by a watchmaker who specializes in battery operated watches from this period. I honor a 5-day return policy if the item is not as described. But I must me notified within those five days. I usually have very good luck with pulling the stem out when the watch is not being worn, to preserve the battery. After resetting the hands, pushing in the stem, and gently spinning the watch case to engage the balance wheel, before wearing, has proven to be sufficient if the watch does not run right away.
I neglected to write that the condition of this Taurus is almost like new. If there had been sticker on the back I would say it is unworn, but it doesn't. The case, bracelet and crystal are practically scratch free, with out being polished. You will not be disappointed in its condition. It will make for one of the best examples in anyone's Hamilton collection!!
