Vintage Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica Sugar Dish Porcelain Porzellan Dose Lid

This product data sheet is originally written in English.

For sale is a superb small lidded sugar bowl dish made by Royal Copenhagen between 1974 and 1978 if I read the date code correctly. Sadly not an original 18th century piece from their most famous service the Flora Danica or Danish Flowers service which is one of the most famous services ever made since that is still in the hands of royalty :) This dish and lid are hand painted in the typical style for this service including a fancy gold trim with some pink highlights and flowers as well as leaves. The lid has a nice large flower all over it from root to blossoms which is called Sedum acre L. in Latin which in English is Goldmoss stonecrop I believe. It's a nice looking yellow flower. The lid has an intertwined branch finial and the main body has two matching ones as the handles as shown. The piece is in superb condition without any issues. The lid and the bottom are both marked underneath as shown. They each have the three wavy blue lines in blue as well as various other marks including painters marks as shown in the pictures. There is also the Latin name of the flowers handwritten in black as is normal for the dishes and the Royal Copenhagen mark in green. The piece is about 2.75 inches tall including the finial, 3.125 inches in diameter and the handles stick out about 0.5 inches on either side. A really nice piece and not easy to find at all.
