This harness is not 100% plug-n-play, you have to connect two wires from your truck’s harness to the two open pigtails in my harness in order to separate the brake light and the turn signal wire into two separate wires, doing this will allow the 5th gen LED tail lamp to operate properly and show the Amber color turn signal and the Red color brake light.  Everything else is plug-n-play.

Some folks have used several different methods to do this like tapping directly tapping into the front turn signal circuit and the 3rd high mount brake light circuit, or using a 2-3 electrical signal converter.

Note - this item is a pair of wire harnesses, Tail lights are not included.  You have to buy 5th gen 2500 3500 LED tail lights.

This harness will allow you to install factory OEM 5th generation RAM 2500 3500 LED tail lights (like ones seen on Laramie) onto 2016-2018 RAM (1500 2500 3500) trucks that came from the factory with halogen tail lights. This harness will only work on 2016-18 RAMs with halogen tails from factory.

***Note:  You Cannot use OEM 5th generation RAM 1500 LED tail lights!  

I know they look the same from five feet away but I assure you they are physically different, and will not bolt onto your 4th Gen RAM truck.  

Professionally built and tested using soldered connections and OEM connectors, sealed tight against the weather.  Heavy duty morimoto load balancers that run Cool and prevent hyper flashing, includes installion instructions.  The RAM LED tail lights look absolutely fantastic at night with the Red and Amber colors, and they're more visible from behind and sides, especially during inclement weather.
