Here we have a 1960 Silvertone Model 11, AM, 6-tube radio. This radio was sold by Sear's and advertised as having long-range reception and "full-fidelity tone" with "Two balanced 5-inch speakers with sound so good you can use them with your stereo equipment-they're wired so you can do it without turning the radio on". However, while the dual speakers may be "stereo", the chassis is high-fidelity, not stereo. I bought this radio from Retro Radio Farm several years ago and it is in very good, electronically refurbished condition. It plays loud and clear and pulls in stations well. There is a phono input jack as well as speaker input on the back of the radio. There is a variable tone control and a pull-out on-off volume control on the front. The cabinet is still bright and shiny with no major scratches, but the left front bottom has two cracks around the screw hole. The case is a bit dirty and would benefit from a good polishing. Please look at the pictures carefully. Item will be double-boxed for extra safety during shipping. Thanks for looking!
