Step into the rich history of filmmaking with the Paillard Bolex H8, an iconic 8mm film camera that has left an indelible mark on the industry. Since its introduction in the 1930s, the Bolex H8 has been a staple tool for filmmakers, renowned for its precision engineering and reliability. From the golden age of cinema to the digital era, this legendary camera has played a vital role in shaping the art of filmmaking. With its timeless design and unparalleled craftsmanship, the Bolex H8 continues to inspire filmmakers and enthusiasts around the world. Attached is an optional frame counter that tracks frames automatically. Included with the camera is a hard carrying case, a GE light meter, and a few misc accessories that I can't quite identify.

Camera exterior is very good, especially given its age. The metal is slightly tarnished from time, but the wear is otherwise very minimal. The interior of the film compartment is clean and has minimal wear. The viewfinder is clear. The lens appears clear and is free of haze, fungus and scratches, but has slightly more exterior wear than the camera. Mechanically, the camera is tested for winding, running, frame rate selection, frame counter, and manual frame advance. No test film developed.

The hard carrying case is in poor condition. The interior is mostly clean, but the exterior has damage and heavy wear. The light meter reacts appropriately to light and seems to function correctly. The misc accessories are in fair to good condition.
