This used Alberta Wildlife Certificate stamp was to be attached to a Wildlife Certificate to permit hunting of White-tailed Deer in Alberta. The stamp was issued in 1964, the first of the series of 1,280 different Alberta hunting stamps. With a denomination of $2.00, it  green in color, with a mountain scene in the background. The stamp has a pen cancellation as required by law, and a F/VF (Fine/Very Fine) grade. The stamp has a light horizontal crease that is not noticeable on the face. The stamp is listed in the Canadian Revenue catalogue (Van Dam 2022) as AW6 and by Rubec & Stover (2015, BNAPS) as AH2.
