PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION AND STUDY THE PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING

I bought this coat new from Antartex in 1972 and wore it throughout the seventies. After that it went into storage. Although the coat is heavy to wear it is very warm and the long lambswool around the collar makes it very snug in cold conditions.

The coat is knee length (approximately 38 inches from the edge of collar to the bottom hem) - see photo 13 of me wearing the coat in 1979. The inside sleeve length is 16 inches.

Most of the suede material is in very good condition for its age with some minor age related blemishes. Although the coat looks good in the main pictures (1 to 7) there is substantial hidden damage as described below and shown in the photos.

1  5.5 inch tear under the collar at the back (photo 8)

2  Small .75 inch tear under the left armpit (photo 10)

3  Larger 2.5 inch tear under the right armpit (photo 9)

4  A .5 inch Tear under button (photo 11)

5  Repair patch under button (photo 12)

6  Small .5 inch tear on the front seam

The coat could possibly be restored to a reasonable condition by someone who knows what they are doing.

The item weighs around 3 KG so will have to be posted as a medium parcel.
