This recent find is from the Estate of a Retired Military Officer who grew up in Hawaii. This listing is for two CELLULOID PAINTINGS from the Disney Production "NO HUNTING" featuring Donald Duck as a Hunter. Paintings in this listing are estimated late 1950's with details below:
Label on back side is Original Walt Disney Productions label which states "you now have in your possession a hand-inked and painted cartoon drawing which was used in one of Walt Disney's pictures. It can be matted and framed in various ways to suit your individual color scheme." Framing was done at Davis Gallery in Honolulu, Hawaii (label is adhered to paper frame back). This is one of a select few released to art collectors and the remainder have been destroyed. This is estimated to be mid - late 1950's as the No Hunting production was released in 1955. Celluloid Paintings are in Good condition for use and age with some expected aging and wear. Back sides have wall hanging attachment. Paintings have a ripple effect which seems to be somewhat common for older celluloid paintings - 22-23. The one of Donald with bandages has some crackling - see pictures 18-21 and the other painting the end of the rifle/gun is raised a little - see picture 16. Please see condition description and all pictures. Note: International orders are subject to buyers Country charging tariff/customs fees upon entry - Not included in Purchase/shipping price for item. To see more Vintage/Antique Collectibles from this Estate, other Estates and several Picks, just visit my Store Link and Thank You for Looking!!!
