I believe the clock is either French or Italian. The only visible marking on the outside of the clock is on the bottom which appears to be a hand engraved serial number. In order to see the movement maker I believe the dial and hands have to be taken apart to access the back of the movement. I don’t think the back of the clock case is meant to come off.

Clock winds and runs , over a 24 hour period was accurate with in a minute. I did not time it down to the second. Please note mechanical clocks do require service every 10 years or so and lubrication every 3 years or so, I don’t know when it had either done.

The clock is in good physical condition for its age. The Metal which appear to be brass has normal wear and patina from age. Porcelain is in very good condition with no visible cracks, chips or major wear.
