For sale is a rare porcelain figurine made by Rosenthal in the 1920s. Impossible to date the way the piece is marked except for the Selb-Bavaria part which was only used in the 20s and very early 30s. The piece is a grotesque dog type figure called "Cerberus" which was originally designed by Hans Küster during this time. He made a few of these crazy animals during this time. These are really fun figures but they are hard to find especially in good condition. These are often damaged due to their fragile nature. The piece is just plain fun. Superbly modeled and perfectly hand painted for the Art Deco period . The figure is in perfect condition. The piece is marked underneath with the green Rosenthal mark as shown with Selb-Bavaria under it as shown. The figurine is about 1.625 inches tall, 0
