For sale is a really nice vase made in France in the mid to later 19th century . It is superbly modeled with a ram's head on either side, a relief design of a bow to the front and back that come together under the goat's heads and form a neat column like design. The entire vase is decorated in the Sevres style with polychrome floral garlands to the front and back and the ram's heads are fully gilded with some nice detail to them. The bows and columns as well as the lid and base are decorated with that superb cobalt blue color and gold trim combo that one often sees on Sevres porcelain. The lid is reticulated with a large pine cone finial.
