Copper iron ore, whole ore rock with indications of gold and silver platinum types. High readings with metal detector with some obvious silver on crust along with a green coating which forms on copper specimens. Some magnetic properties which suggest iron.  These ores are very rare.  I decided not to cut this one because of the green colorations., very interesting ore. Measurements from the longest point of the shape are 3 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 1 3/4". About 1-1/2 pounds in weight, heavy compared to its size. There appears to be silver visible outer surface to the trained eye. Lightly washed to not disturb the green coating. Gold and copper content can only be guessed by weight and size comparison unknown purity or amount.  Whole ore from the 1800s Ore Knob Copper Mine, you can see what these mixed precious metal ore look like before slabbing. These ore never fail to surprise me when cut, you never know what amount of metal types are in the interior, copper and iron with more. Photos are taken dry and wet. Wet photos show the green better for your viewing. Sipping options are available. Specimens come with a photo packing slip with origin details.
