This controller was purchased in a batch with various other sony products from an official sony liquidation partner. The controller is brand new, sealed and authentic. We opened several controllers from the batch to inspect it's internals and were able to confirm them to be authentic. Please note that if you are purchasing this controller for use, it's battery may no longer be functional due to the age of the controller. Lithium batteries can slowly discharge when not used and so it may not be of expected functionality, if at all. Therefore, this controller is sold as a collectible and not a functioning electronic.
