For sale is a really nice plate made in England in the early to mid 19th century . Probably the nicest floral plate I have owned from there! Not sure as to who made it - Coalport came up but the plate shape is wrong. If anyone out there has any idea I'd love to hear them. Either way the plate is superbly hand painted with a huge floral arrangement covering about 90% of the plate. Lots of different flowers and leaves and a bit of a gold trim along the edge. Never seen a piece like it. The quality of the painting is top notch! It looks stunning when on display! The plate is in great condition with no chips, etc. but there is wear to the gilding and a few use marks to the painting but it displays nicely! Sadly the plate is not marked which I always wonder about when a piece is this good! The plate is 1.5 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter so a very nice size!
