For sale is a fun polychrome leaf shaped dish made by Bow in the mid 18th century - about 1750 plus or minus 2 years. A nice early piece likely used as a pickle dish. Polychrome pieces from this period are pretty hard to find and this one has lots of charm and looks superb. Nice leaf shape with serrated edge, stem to its end and underside molded veins. The dish is hand painted with a colorful design based on the Chinese Famille Rose in the center in pink, turquoise and blue tones. Really a stunning look for a nice early piece from this maker! The dish is in superb condition with some very tiny nibbles to the edge, so small that I couldn't tell you where they are and a tiny hairline to one spot less than 0.25 inches long as shown. It displays perfectly! The dish is marked underneath with a number 33 as shown. Unusual and likely a workman's mark. It is 1.25 inches tall, 3.375 inches long and 3.635 inches wide. English England
