I am making this listing with 20 services available, if they all sell out on the same week, then the wait times on serviced watches can be as long as a month or more depending on what I have to do for the watch!

WHEN THESE 20 SELL OUT, I INTENTIONALLY LET THE LISTING DIE.

That's so I can ensure everyone or almost everyone got their watches back before I accept 20 more jobs.  If these service sell slow, then the return times are faster.  I already have a few repeat customers that continuously send multiple watches and keep me flush with work here on eBay. 

Send me your old watch if it's broke down and you want to see if I can fix it back up for you at an affordable price!

If you got a old pocket watch that is not functioning any more and you would like to have it checked out by me, please send a message and I'll get back to you Soon with a response and a quote on what it's going to take to get your watch up and running.

You will have to purchase my service to view my shipping address to send me your watch at your expense with tracking. I will upload a photo with my phone number and home shipping address so you can send me the watches. But the return shipping is free and insured up to the purchase amount of the service. Any additional insurance required for return shipping will be left to the buyer of this service to pay for.  So it cost about $10 per $500 dollars of extra insurance to protect your watch or watches from loss or theft by the USPS. I can add this to your return package when I'm at the post office. 

Example, you buy a service from me and you send me your 4992 for a cleaning.  Well the service only cost you $60 dollars and the watch is worth at least $500, so it's best to pay me the $10 for the extra insurance otherwise eBay and the USPS will not reimburse you for the value of your watch. So I will make you a miscalanious parts listing for you to pay me the extra $10 dollars to increase your USPS insurance to $500. Thanks.

YOU CAN ALSO PRE PURCHASE YOUR OWN RETURN SHIPPING LABEL WITH THE INSURANCE THAT YOU REQUIRE, AND PUT IT IN THE BOX WITH YOUR WATCHES. I can then upload your tracking number to eBay when I'm ready to send it back and you can follow the shipping info online!

No returns on this service, I will issue and refunds as a partial if the issue arises.

Basic services I currently provide,

Ultrasonic cleaned in L&R solution

Dial cleaned, enamel dial is chemical cleaned, any missing parts plugged with dial wax, painted dials are hot soapy water brushed, the chemicals can eat paint, so not worth the risk.

The case is soaked in L&R solution and brushed clean, then dried and cleaned with semi chrome.

The watch is then oiled and reassembled.

The watch is then placed in it's case.

The watch is then De Magnetized

The watch is then wound up and ran for timing.

That watch is put in a ziplock air tight bag, only removed for adjustment purposes

The watch, If Needed, will then be adjusted for better time keeping.

         The watch will go through 2 full mainspring wind sessions to ensure the mainspring doesn't break or explode after the cleaning. Sometimes the mainspring does this when the watch hasn't been used in a long time. The metal weakens and breaks when it finally gets new tension in a different direction that it sat in for all that time. They just pop, sometimes into multiple pieces. If this happens I can replace this for an additional fee. 

After it passed the test, the watch is then packaged and shipped back to you USPS shipping with tracking. It's free and included in the quoted price. I will be using recycled shipping materials, preferably the same package that you send it to me in, so keep that in mind when packing it up to send to me, any containers or bubble wrap will all be sent back to you, although the package size may be modified so I can cut back on shipping cost for me, with new tape and shipping labels on it.  If you want to sign for it just send a message, it's free of charge, we don't want porch thieves snatching your package.

I DO NOT have ANY SWISS PARTS AND WILL NO LONGER SERVICE SWISS WATCHES BECAUSE IT CAN TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS TO YEARS JUST TO FIND THE PARTS! AND MANY TIMES THOSE CHEAP PARTS ARE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! SO I ALSO WILL NOT SERVICE THEM BECAUSE MANY OF THEM ARE EXTREMELY CHEAP AND SCREWS AND OTHER PARTS BREAK VERY EASILY.
