This auction is for a vintage composition Madame Alexander Wendy Ann doll.

She is about 13" tall and she has the jointed waist.   She is marked properly on her back.  Her composition is pretty nice with very minimal crazing.   She does has a chip on the tip of a finger.   Her stringing is loose but she will stand and display in a doll stand.

Wendy Ann is a pretty doll.   I always thought she had a soulful look to her.   She is a slim doll and her arms and hands are very graceful looking.

She has amber open and close eyes(eyes have crystalized).   She has "real" upper lashes, painted brows, painted lower lashes, smoky eye shadow and blushed cheeks.   Her lips are red.  Lips appear to have been "touched up" at some point in time.

Her wig is original but is sparse.   It has been tucked into a bun at the back of her head.   I believe her hair is a real hair wig.

She comes to you wearing a red dotted dress, that is not tagged, but may be a Madame Alexander dress.   It fastens in back with square type snaps and is adorned with two buttons on bodice that appear to be Madame Alexander type buttons.   The dress is white, a slightly sheer fabric with tiny red dots overall.  There is lace trim on skirt front that mimics the shape of a half apron.   Sleeves are short puffed.  Lace trims the neckline.
