This vintage wool swim suit from the 1920s or 1930s is a unique piece of swimwear. The green one piece suit features attached shorts that are a little longer than the attached skirt. It has multiple colored thin horizontal strips. Made of 100% wool. The arm holes must not have been allowed to be too open. The pictures shows me holding the bottom of an arm hole.  With the suit laying flat, the chest size is 34", but the stretchy material makes the bust stretch out to over 40".  Across the chest, from the bottom of one arm hole across to the bottom of the other arm hole, measures 13" laying flat, or 26" around. The waist meaures 30" around. The waist to hem length of 14". The shoulder to hem length is 32". Celebrate the vintage era with this fun and fashionable swim suit.

There are no tags, for brand or size. It has a working button at the top of the left shoulder, the right should has a regular strap.

There is a tiny hole, as seen in the pictures. I am pointing to a smaller then pencil eraser size hole on the back side, along the waist. I'm sure a little mending can take care of it. It has also been stored for years and has not been washed as I do not know the proper way to wash wool.

Update: someone asked about the color. I added 3 more pictures at the end to show any fading. The picture of the top of the suit shows the inside of the material to be a little more yellow. The pictures of the bottom of the suit shows pretty well how the bottom edge of the shorts has faded just a bit from where the skirt was pulled up.  The picture of the suit hanging on a door was taken with bright sunlight from a window. Actual color is the less bright green as seen in most of the pictures.
