Green upcycled handpainted pine chest of drawers with natural wooden top

I painted this unique four-drawer pine chest of drawers with Annie Sloan chalk paint. The chest of drawers originally had great chunks of veneer missing from the drawers but the pine shell was in great condition considering the hard life it had had. The piece repaired and textured and then paint was built up over layers of different tones to give an aged look.

The inside of the drawers have been painted with a brick red colour to contrast the outside.

The piece was then waxed several times.

There are a few dings and signs of its age, but its a vintage piece of wooden furniture, so this is part of its charm and character.

Size is 81 cm high, 50 cm wide, and 93 cm length.
