This is a rare fossil collected from the Frodingham Ironstone Formation, Connesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. The specimen is a bivalve (Cardinia sp.) which has been 3D prepared and has excellent detail and preservation. Jurassic era, approx 200 million years old and it displays very well !
Specimen measures approx 4.8cm x 3.7cm x 2.2cm.
