Rare Vintage Surplus Belgian Army 2 Man Combat Pup Tent M56 Jigsaw Camo w/ Rainfly, Poles, Stakes. 

Condition- Military issued surplus. The tent is in overall very good condition with no holes, rips, or tears. The rainfly is in overall good condition with no rips or tears, but some may have the seam tape peeling which would be an easy repair using a seam sealant.

These tough tents were issued only to elite Paratroops and feature a main cotton canvas inner tent with separate rainfly, made from durable ripstop nylon, in the interesting yet effective M56 Jigsaw camo pattern. The tent is pitched with two aluminum poles and can be used standalone without the rainfly on hot summer nights. 

One end section of the poles is taller than the other to create more space near the entrance. There is also no need to pull a taut ridgeline, since the third set of poles extend from one tip to the other creating a perfectly taut one everytime.  Five aluminum pegs secure the tent to the ground. Pitching the tent also involves no knots, since all attachment points have a ready-made elastic loop which also help absorb shock and stress to the tent.
