 'Decorated in the blue & white palette, the centre with the figure scene and The Hundred Antiques design (Bai gu), using a white-ground incorporating the branches of peony flowers scrolling foliage.'.

The Hundred Antiques (Bai gu) is a miscellaneous or general collection of emblematic forms comprising the Eight Treasures, the Four Treasures, the symbols of Four Fine Arts (music, chess, calligraphy, and painting) together with numerous conventional representations of sacrificial vessels, flowers, animals.

  • Condition: FAIR—Repaired- FRITTING of the HANDLE- refilled with putty and repainted, and silver metal was applied spout and on the lid. There are lots of tiny chips around the edges, with loss of enamel and light scratches; otherwise, it is in fair condition. Please see the pictures carefully.
