This vintage studio pottery vase, signed by John Beusman, measures approximately 16½cm in height. It features a geometrically shaped design with a pattern resembling connected lilypads. The underside bears the signature of John Beusman as well as the maker's stamp which reads "Carn Pottery, Nangledra, Penzance, Cornwall."

Established by John M. Beusmans in Nancledra during the early 1970s, Carn Pottery is known for its distinctive shapes and use of copper oxide for colouring. Beusmans, trained at Redruth Art College, demonstrates skill in throwing, mold-making, and decoration. His pieces are fired at 1140°C in an electric kiln, showcasing his fascination with form.

Crafted from slip-cast pottery, this vase presents a unique addition to any collection.
