This is a Corgi Hillman Imp Monte Carlo Rallye 1966 in dark blue with full suspension and opening rear window.
Model number 328.
1:43 scale.
I have taken lots of photos for you to inspect this item, and although I am not a model expert, I have described the condition of all aspects of the item as accurately as possible.
The model itself appears to be in exceptionally nice condition. The only very minor fault I can see is the number decal on the nearside door has a tiny scratch in it (see last photo). The car is however quite grubby and needs a really good clean. I have done the roof with just a warm soapy cloth and it has cleaned up like new but I don't want to do the rest of the car as I am concerned that I may damage the plastic windows or the decals. It seems to be a very rare model in such nice condition and I don't want to spoil it.
The front and rear suspensions are very springy and work perfectly. All 4 wheels spin freely but the rear seat which is supposed to recline using the rear suspension doesn't work. The rear seat can still be moved up and down manually.
It is missing it's original box but from what I can find, the model itself certainly appears to be in far better condition than any other that is currently for sale or has been sold for some time.
