24 Hour Wall Clock 13 3/4" Octagon Analog Military Time Clock Blue or Green Wood

I make these in my home shop using a CNC router to etch in the numbers/lines/graphics.  The clockface is made of 5mm ply that is painted either blue or camo gray/green.  Once the face is routed out, they are protected with satin polyeurothene giving them a nice finish that isn't completely flat but has very little gloss.  These are 24 hour clocks which means the hour hand takes 24 hours to make a complete revolution as opposed to a standard clock that makes 2 revolutions per day.  The minute and second hands operate the same as a standard clock so the minutes read just like you are used to seeing.

The clock mechanism is a quartz movement operated with one AA battery (included).  Movement has ticking second hand.  The outer frame is approx 1/2" thick cedar 1 1/2" deep giving a nice shadow line and also leaves a space in back for the movement so it can hang flat on the wall.  Includes a hanging loop (not installed) to use if desired.  Face is open with no covering to age or yellow over time.

A great looking unique clock that any military person will enjoy.  It makes reading military time easy at a glance, and will confuse your non-military friends!

Note: Because these are wood, there are always variations in wood color and grain.  Also, there are times when knots are cut into during the face routing process.  This is normal and adds a bit of variation to each one made.  What that means is some of the lines/numbers may have darker spots or look darker than others because of the color variations in the wood below the painted surface.  Again, this is normal and should be no cause for concern.
