For sale is a creamware figurine of a putto standing in
front of a tree made by one of the Staffordshire Pottery makers in the
early 19th century . The putto is holding a basket filled with flowers
in front of him and is standing on a nice base with a little stream
flowing through his legs. Nice boccage behind him. It is very well
modeled and hand painted and really a nice example. Nice colors and
detail. The figure is in good condition with some minor glaze flakes as
well as some chips to the tips of the boccage. Not bad at all and it
displays wonderfully! The piece is not marked underneath the open
bottom which is normal for these types of figures. The figure is 5.375
inches tall, 3.375 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. Figur Earthenware Steingut Pearlware
