Vinyl: SEALED in original shrink wrap, LPs are presumed mint, no signs of water damage, copy was stored indoors in a home. Original shrink wrap has shrunk a little bit over time, but the box feels structurally sound/solid with no evidence of warping or deforming.
Sleeve: EX condition all around, corners and seams are in sharp, intact condition with no splits or dings. A small amount of shelf wear in the areas where the original shrink wrap has split or flaked off, but nothing severe. Spine is sharp and readable.
Insert: Insert booklet is NM sealed behind original shrink, nice sharp condition with no scratches or dents.
Additional Description: Extremely rare find, mono copy of this highly sought-after 1959 box set SEALED in original shrink wrap.
This style of shrink wrap matches other sealed original Capitol PBR and SPBR releases that I have seen on auction archive sites such as Worthpoint and Gripsweat.
Additionally, this was reportedly purchased by the previous owner from the estate of an employee of Capitol Records who worked there in the mid-late 1950s to the early 1960s.
