Offered for sale is a rare, elegant vintage Ben de Lisi dress from the 1980s.  It  is from his mainline collection - ie., before he started designing for the High Street.

The colour is a lovely taupe / elephant / mushroom colour.    The  fourth picture - of the cuff -  is the most accurate depiction of the colour.

Rarely worn, carefully stored, and in very good condition.  Please note there are some light dust marks inside the collar, which are not at all visible when worn.  (I tried to photograph the collar in the last photo, but the colour has come out very pale, and the marks are too feint to show up).

The style is like a smart shirt dress - pointed collar, contrasting black fabric buttons all the way down the front, sleeves gathered into double cuffs (with same buttons). The hemline is rounded, and the back fractionally longer than the front - like a man's shirt.  It hangs straight, no darts, and comes to just below the knee (please see measurements, below).

Very well-tailored, and lined throughout, for added weight - it falls very well.

The outer fabric is  52% Acetate, 48% Rayon, and has a slight crepe-y feel to it.

No smells, stains, pulls, holes, marks etc.

Length (from nape of neck to bottom of hem):  approx. 40"

Shoulder to shoulder seam (at top): approx. 20"

Underarm to underarm (when laid flat and buttoned):  approx. 20"

A rare item, and a collector's piece for any fashionista.

I’m also selling one in Black, in a larger size

Any questions, please ask!

PLEASE NOTE I SHALL BE UNABLE TO POST ANY ITEMS BETWEEN 20 AND 26 MAY.
Thank you.
