Original full leather binding, the hinges are secure. The text is complete, (apart from a paper flaw\loss at the foot of a sheet affecting a couple of words either side - supplied in pencil manuscript at the side- see photo) tidy internally, some toning and marking.
A number of paper loss instances not affecting the text.
A number of mis-bound pages with worst affected being these between page 40 and 60 - complete chaos...
The endpapers (and bottom board) full of interesting 17th century inscriptions, loss to the endpapers - which are not stuck down.
A 1660 Oxford publication of Heroides/Heroines by Ovid, this work is followed by Ovid's; Amorum Libri, De Arte Amandi Libri, De Remedio Amoris.
I cannot find any other copy of this edition for sale online at the moment - and I did check a few more than usual suspects... - what is interesting as author was quite popular and there is plenty of copies from earlier and later editions available. Such collection of his works should be popular.
