Nike Air More Uptempo 96 Black Court Purple
The Nike Air More Uptempo may no longer be the leader in basketball performance, but it remains one of the most popular basketball sneaker designs of all time.
Ahead of fall, the Scottie Pippen-associated silhouette appeared in a predominantly black and white colorway that wasn't too dissimilar to her original style. However, the signature “AIR” lettering on the profiles, as well as other branding and pull tabs on the tongue and heel, introduce bright neon colors that seemingly come straight from the 1990s. Rich purple enlivens the LA Lakers-inspired branding on the profiles, allowing for an equally striking yellow to take over the jewel Swooshes at the back; Air Max units underfoot follow suit.
