A beautiful Shelley Art Deco pattern No 12560 Eve shape tea trio. C.1936.
Pattern number 12560: Grey scroll along edge. Graded green ground. Green flowers and grey leaves. Green handle. Entered in pattern book during or after 1936.
The shape of this trio is the Eve shape which was only produced between 1935 & 1942.
The back stamp is the 1925-40 green cartouche mark.
Dimensions: diameter of footed tea cup base 49mm (1.9 inches) / diameter across top of cup 89mm (3.5 inches) / height of cup 75mm (3 inches) / diameter of saucer 139mm (5.5 inches) / diameter of side plate 178mm (7 inches).
Condition: All 3 pieces are in excellent clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching, rubbing or any signs of wear. All paintwork / enamelling is in good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have an excellent "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
