An unusual Shelley Art Deco "Cottage" 11633 Doric shape tea trio. C.1928. 

Pattern No 11633 Cottage: Brown print. Timbered and thatched cottage set amongst trees and a cottage garden. Mauve trim. White ground. Entered into pattern book during or after 1928.  

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this trio is the Doric shape which was produced between 1924 & 1932.

Dimensions: diameter of cup base 40mm (1.5 inches) / diameter across top of cup 76mm (3 inches) / height of cup 65mm (2.5 inches) / diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches) / side plate 160mm (6.25 inches).

Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching, rubbing or signs of wear. All paintwork & enamelling is in very good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
