A Shelley Art Deco "Stylised Leaves" CS0226 Oxford shape tea trio. C.1940. 

Canadian tea ware / Ideal China pattern No CS0226: Hand enamelled decoration of green and yellow stylised leaves and red berries. Grey lines and print. Green trims and ring handle. White ground.   

The back stamp is the 1940-1966 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this trio is the Oxford shape which was produced between 1934 & 1940.

Dimensions: diameter of cup base 45mm (1.75 inches) / diameter across top of cup 79mm (3 inches) / height of cup 66mm (2.5 inches) /  diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches) / side plate 160mm (6.25 inches).

Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or rubbing. All paintwork / enamelling is all in good order with no fading to the pattern. All 3 pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
