Here we have the Montblanc 644 from 1950.  This is a piston filler and the piston is in working condition. The celluloid is the green striated version (rare) and it is in excellent condition with no darkening, browning or discoloration. The comes with the gold-filled cap in the rare “Alternating wide Barley and Plain Panel” pattern, which is in excellent condition.  A hard to find combination for this model. The gold-filled trim is in excellent condition.  The pen has the two-toned 14k medium fine, flexible nib (not “wing” nib). The pen is in near mint plus condition. This pen is found in Gopens catalog 84/190.
